Dear Mercedes Families,
Due to severe weather and flooding in the Mid Valley area, Mercedes ISD has canceled classes for Friday, March 28, 2025. MISD staff is also assessing facilities for any damages or flooding from the inclement weather, and repairs will be made accordingly.
The District continues to actively monitor the weather and will collaborate with local emergency management officials. The safety and well-being of our students and staff are of paramount importance. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Please take all necessary precautions and stay safe.

Every week Sgt. Harrell Middle School includes all students who had perfect attendance, the previous week, in a raffle. The winner receives pizza, drinks, cookies, and chips. Thank you, thank you for being a huge part of your child's success.
